Get Stump'd was founded in 2023 by QLD Locals Matt & Maddy Hansson.

Our crazy ride commenced in 2023 when Matt, a longtime Cricket fanatic and player decided to go off to the Australian Pickleball Championships with next to no practice or exposure as they had advertised a Disability Para category. Matt being a below knee amputee, meant this was an exciting prospect for him to get involved and by the time he was finished the championships, Get Stump'd was unofficially formed! 

We started out commencing as Toowoomba Pickleball (Located in South East QLD Australia) where we still run Get Stump'd Toowoomba Pickleball today, running 4-5 sessions a week however we identified that there wasn't an opportunity for Para Athlete's to really represent themselves when it came to apparel. Therefore we got thinking and came up with the idea Get Stump'd A-PARA-L. The A-PARA-L is our own play of words being that we are an apparel range however wanted to keep it in alignment with our values of promoting inclusion and Para sports.

We still work our day jobs, run Toowoomba Pickleball and Get Stump'd A-PARA-L is just our project to allow players or supporters of Para/Adaptive sports be able to rep some cool merchandise on and off the court and to ensure that inclusive is identified.
